Return policy.

When buying at Hometown Lumber, you have a 30-day window from the date of purchase in which to return the item. Returns must include the item in new condition in its original packaging, with all shipped parts, accessories, and documents. If you paid by credit card, please allow 3-7 business days for the amount to be credited back to your account. If returned after 30 days, you can receive store credit. For special/custom orders, you can get a full refund if it is our mistake. If not, there will be a 30% restocking fee.

Exceptions
Some items cannot be returned. These include, but are not limited to:

• Personal Protective Equipment (such as face masks) if the packaging has been opened.

• Food items, toiletries, and other health/personal care products.

• Propane tanks.

• Gas-powered equipment, unless it is in brand new, never-been-used condition.

• Generators and related accessories.

• Any item that requires assembly and has already been assembled and removed from its original packaging.

• Items that are missing packaging, or are no longer in re-sellable condition.

Note: Some items may be subject to a 30% restocking fee.
